It’s been one of THOSE mornings -
You know the kind - the kind where all you want to do hide in the covers of your bed until the next day, because you know what kind of day it’s going to be.
Children grumpy
Laundry mountains
projects due
lists to cross
dirty bathroom
company coming
House trashed
no one listening
Temper is mounting
Oh Lord I need you - I’m so tired, I can’t do this on my own.
Sometimes all you can do is laugh - sometimes it’s what you need the most.
I walked into girls room fully prepared to give them well..... their due.. for playing around instead of putting their clothes on as I had asked (at least 100 times). Hearing shrieks of uncontrollable laughter is a safe bet that children are not dressing or making beds. In the middle of the room B is stands with both legs in one leg of her pants - little booty shaking back and forth, the other pant leg swinging like a monkeys tail... she hops around the room giggling her squeaky little giggle - grumpy eyes all twinkly. A rolls on the bed in hysterical laughter - I can’t help it - I have to smile, then a little laugh, then I join A on the bed.
Thank you God for laughter.

i should have called... after i had "taken the first bite and profess my eternal love for every ounce of your body"... those cinnamon rolls we had for breakfast this morning were exactly as pioneer woman described them (i looked them up to double/triple check ingredients!).... seriously- pete said "can we pay her to make a whole batch to put in our freezer!" seriously- they were outrageous!
Sunshine...Melissa has always made a mean cinnamon roll...I miss them!
Melissa...fun story! We just got these silly motion activated stuffed animals in our store, that roll around on the floor & just belly laugh. They're not real cute & definately not cuddly, but they're attracting tons of attention & are selling like crazy, because you can't help but smile when you hear them & then just laugh right along with them...again & again.
Thank God for the gift of laughter!!!
