WaSh Day -personal photo project

My birthday was yesterday and for my gift I decided I wanted to do a photo shoot with the girls. This idea has been swimming around in my heart for weeks just waiting for the right time. Yesterday everyone seemed up for it so off we went to the backyard for some fun. The light was challenging and beautiful all at the same time, not all the images that I will post are well exposed, but I love them too much not to post them.
Our theme was "wash day", the girls were amazed at the idea that people actually washed there clothing by hand and hung them outside to dry (oh how spoiled we are). Little C was not so sure she liked her part in our fun, but she was a good sport long enough for me to get a couple shots.
Overall we had a ton of fun with this and played long after I put the camera down.
Here is a little story of our wash day......

These pictures made my day...sooooo much fun...so cheerful & bright!!!! I bought that colorful blue & orange dress (adding some pretty color on the clothesline) almost 34 years ago at Kmart. I loved it then & it still brings a smile to my face, hanging, freshly washed by 2 adorable washer women...great great job!!!
